Yes, it does matter to his wife & if it's true, he's let her down in the worst possible way.

If it isn't true, then I hope he sues the paper that printed it!

It may also serve as a warning to him & any others thinking of embarking on an affair, 'specially if they're in the public eye.

having an affair does not necessarily make any woman a tart...

however.. going to the newspapers to sell the story of an affair does put a slightly different slant on it / her.

He's as much to blame though - if it's true. In fact he's the married one - but the woman in an affair always gets slagged off more as a rule, don't you think? Not saying I agree with it but..

None of us know goes on behind closed doors. None of us know what the Ramsay marriage is really like. Perhaps his wife is also having an affair or is unbearable to live with.
The media just loves 'exposing' people and the public are very gullible.

I hope Gordon and his wife get through this.
