After breast feeding.
Hope some AB mums can help. After you weaned your baby, how long did it take for the milk in your breasts to completely disappear. We're now 4 weeks post weaning, but there's still a little milk there if I make like a milk maid and hand express. Just interested in how long it will take my body to break it down and get rid of it.

I had my last baby (who I breastfed for a year) just over three years ago. I dont regularly squeeze my breasts to express, but on the odd occasion that I do... I can STILL get some milk out..... only a few drops... but its still there nevertheless.
Its not uncommon for this to happen. I'm a health visitor, and I know of lots of women whose ability to make breastmilk never completely goes.... but obviously with it being a supply and demand process.... if you leave well alone.... you'll never make enough for it to be a problem.... ie.. leaking etc.
Well done for breastfeeding.
