How cold is it this morning!

Have come into work early to let the boiler men in as ours is broke and we have no heating.

I'm gonna be lighting a camp fire soon lol :)

I wonder if I can work from Starbucks today....

Trouble is I'm the boss today as the big boss isn't it lol :)

The nice management guy has just popped in and is bringing some heaters in for us as it's going to be off all day apparantly.

Only me in at the moment as I volunteered to come let them in early and most of the firm seem to be dropping like flies with bugs going round.

I don't mind lettings the others go if it is too cold but I have too much work to do :(

It's going to be a cold and quiet day :)

Me too, sat here with my big coat on and a Starbucks :)

I was thinking of doing that later Lakitu, getting cakes and Starbucks in for everyone (depending on how many actually make it in) later on, warm us all up.

Hopefully the heaters should arrive so I can get them all on and the place warmed up before the rest of them come in. Trouble is, it's very open plan so no way of sealing the heat into certain areas.

Our landlord has just been out to look at our boiler,it isn't actually broke but is making the most horrendous noise,it sounds like it is screaming in pain.lol
He says the fan is sticking and is going to order one and fit it on monday.Thankfully he is a fully qualified gas fitter so we know it will be a proper job.
I hope you manage to get your boiler fixed soon jen.x

Thank you :) There's lots of reassuring banging noises going on anyway :)

The boiler didn't break down completely but hasn't been working properly so they flushed the system yesterday then decided a new one was needed so they're doing that today.

I guess a few days of cold is worth plenty of heat afterwards :)

Why is it boilers usually break down when its really cold? I think there's a little man at the manufacturers who does it deliberately and then thinks "you wait, i'll get 'me" . grrrrrrrrrrr
