Semi-permanent hair dye

Is it my imagination or are there a real lack of these at the moment? My hair is dark brown but I dye it very slightly darker and a bit either red or purple, to make it more interesting. All the new funky dyes are permanent, and I don't want to be that drastic. Anyone know of any good makes?!

stargazer hairdye is temporary and comes in bright colours and also Directions by La Riche. get them from hippy type market stalls and shops :)

I also have dark hair intermingled with grey but I always use Loreal Castings - comes in great colours and is semi permanent - washes out after about 4/6 weeks
