How to organize events?

We have regular raffles and Bingo get-togethers in our area every quarter, and I am the coordinator for this. Could I find an efficient way to organize events?

Involve some friends and form a committee, 2 or more brains are better than 0ne

And lists lists and more lists. If you ask anyone to do anything write it down in front of them then they cant present a bewildered face and say ...... " but no-one asked me to do it!"

These block events can really be quite a pain to coordinate. I've been through those days. Coordinating means organizing the events and inviting every household. Can give you couple of sleepless nights. The coordinator in our area uses Tabup.com to set events and organize her work.
