Bad kitty !

my 6 month old kitten has discovered he is big enough now to jump on the kitchen work top,i dont want him doing this anyone got any advise how to stop him doing this? i have said no and took him down straight away and i splashed him with a bit of water when i washed the pots to get him down any other advise ?? apart from that hes the best n soo cute : )

you will have to be firm I'm afraid and patient at first, just keep saying a firm no, especially when he looks like he is about to jump, if he does then get him straight down and then if he continues then shut him out of the room until he gets the idea.

You could also teach if that if he is good and waits then he gets a cuddle afterwards.

Just persevere. Cats are incredibily curios and you will find him exploring all sorts of odd places lol
