sky plus box.

hi, my mum & dad are looking to upgrade there sky box, to a sky+ box. my dad rang sky & was told there was no offers on & that they would have to pay nearly �200 for the box & for it to be fitted? does anyone no if there is any offers on? thank's rea.

I think all the offers are for new customers only. Great how they appreciate their loyal customers by giving them nothing.

Tell your parents to see how much BTVision would cost them.

When they have this information they should ring Sky and tell them they want to give notice to cancel the Sky subscription. They can tell Sky they want to go to BT to take advantage of the free V box BT is offering.

Sky will soon come up with an appropriate offer to keep them

(cowboy) hi, yes that's what i thought when my dad told me, i said i would ask on here before he paid them.. i signed up with sky about 3 months ago, my friend recived �50 m&s vouchers & i had a "deal" where i had to pay �50 for the sky+ box. my parents have been with sky for about 5 years now, & like you said, thats how they show how much there loyal customers mean to them... thanks for writing back cowboy.

hello ethel, i will tell my dad what you have said. do you no if bt vision is avalble in all areas? i only ask this because ntl, have never put the lines in where we live to have ntl, just wonderd if bt vision was the same? thanks for taken the time to write back... rea

(rosiew) hello thank's for writing back.. but i have also recived that offer though the post. after reading the small print, i noticed you have to be a new customer with sky.. which my parants are not they have been with sky for about 5 years.

If your area can get Freeview you can get BTVision,as far as I know.
