Stag in Barcelona

Can anyone recommend a good hotel or apartments for a group of 15-20 on a stag weekend in Barcelona.  We should be generally well behaved and would like somewhere a little bit classy, or at least not a dive.

I stayed in Apart-hotel Citadines last year, really good value, nice rooms, bit more than a hotel room as you get a small kitchette, with fridge, micro etc. It is based on the Las Rambles where all the action is...

You should try www.senorstag.com I know it's mainly for stag do's but me and my boyfriend went to barcelona last year and bought barca football tickets from these people and stayed in one of their apartments. The apartment was totally lush! It was on the most exclusive street in Barcelona and was so nice to stay somehwere that you enjoyed coming back to! It wasn't really posh, just really nicely decorated and furnished. There were loads of hen parties staying there too, so that could be a bonus!! It was about �80 euros a night, which we didnt think was bad cos we loved it so much. It was right near Las Ramblas and the tube was opposite our building so we could go anywhere we wanted easily! The Citadines recommendation is very sound, so I'd recommend checking that out first. The nice apartments (Casa Gaudi)  talked about would be 39 quid pppn for 2 nights with return airport transfers, based on 15 of you coming. If you can get a better deal with the Citadines, then I'd go for that.

I have just got back from a fantastic hen weekend in Barcelona. We organised everything - accommodation, transport, activities- through Barcelonatours.net (www.barcelonatours.net) as we were a group of 19 girls so we really needed some help with organising things. Our hotel was in an amazing situation just off the Ramblas which was ideal for nightlife etc. We also arranged a bunch of activities through them- including pampering and a three course meal and bar crawl. I would definitely go through them again as it totally took all the hassle out of the holiday and meant we could all properly relax and enjoy the weekend. You'll love Barcelona- it's great!
