linksys wireless router
2 Answers
we have started using the linksys wireless g router for our internet connection since we bought laptops for the kids as well as our main pc. we have tried 2 routers now, but they both keep losing the internet connection. someone has suggested that as it drops out on the main pc as well as the laptops, it must be our internet line to the house and not the router. does anyone know where we are going wrong?

if all the machines are dropping out .... it's the first common point .... the router....
1 router could be faulty ... but 2????
the router should have a connection indicator - is that going off?
if YES - it's the next common point - the line
(what do the phones sound like? - noisy?
have you got filters on EVERY socket?
can you try the router plugged into the point where the line connects ... (with the rest of the sockets disconnected)
get bt to test the line
