I require information of what to do when I go to inspect subject Gear Boxes at the Manufacturers facility

If you dont know what you are looking at then you should not be going or at least enlist help from someone who is in the company who does know.

They will run rings around you if they pick up on your lack of knowledge (easily) and you will cop the flack if you have signed anything as a company representative. It will be your fault.
