Grease outfit

Does anyone know any sites i can get an out for a grease party, i want a full skirt to wear, i've tried ebay and the lists are endless can anyone help?

Well if all else fails go and buy a big round gingham tablecloth, cut a hole in the middle and put some elastic in the waistband and then put a big petticoat underneath.

They're easy enough to make. Go along to your nearest sewing shop and have a look through the pattern catalogues.

Basically, you just need to cut out two v. large semi-circles of fabric, stitch 'em together and bang a waistband on, then you wear a waspy over the top.

You can get the petticoats from dancewear shops.

Have you tried joke shops and fancy dress shops. You could either hire something, or possibly buy something cheap, as these shops often have ready made costumes such as the sort of thing you're looking for. Or have a search in some charity shops. If you have no luck at all, go for a different look from the film, say capri pants and the scarf round the neck.

i dont know a site but most charity shops have skirts like that as they were in fashion decades ago..
