Hi, my sister has just had to take a job at minimum wage and is only working 26 hours per week, this gets her off the job seekers allowance, but is there anything else she can claim, eg income support, working tax credit or other benefits (she lives at home but does pay rent)
Would be very gratfull if someone could advise on her situation and what she may be entitled to
regards

She should be able to apply for working tax credit. The jobcentre should have told her that.

how old is she, does she have any children?

if under 25 and living at home i dont think shes entitled to WTC
You don't need to have children to claim WTC, its the CTC you can't claim

However, I think the age thing might come into play here
It's all here
