An imposter? Just call me Englebert Humperdinck, please release me, let me go.........
Je suis determine to get through an entire morning without getting into trouble. Chreest, it's gonna be hard...
morning, i've been up since 6! But had quite a good sleep so am feeling fine. Busy bee today as i am helping out at playgroup for the pantomime trip. Bye Daisy x
I am now sat at my desk trying to sound like a trumpet or a french horn playing Englebert's Please Release Me song. I think it sounds quite realistic; I always used to be quite good at the horn.
The green van has been sent for.....
I have today off work, but I have got plenty on my plate to do!!
I am determined to finish of my christmas present shopping and I want to thoroughly clean out my fridge and cupboards.
My mum was a huge Englebert fan. Most women of that 'certain age' seemed to prefer Tom Jones, but mum was more subtle. She preferred the cheesy moustache-and-tan man to the pelvic thrusting boy from the valleys.
My favourite of his was 'Lonely is a Man Without Love'. I did quote that particular song on here a few weeks ago, but no-one seemed to be impressed by it. Heathens.
We all just sound (and act) young !!
I know what you mean though sara - I thought I was an old 'un on here & that the majority of ladies on CB were late 20's to late 30's. Nice to know we are mostly of the same mind, whatever our age, isn't it?!
