Does anyone know of any non-religious, not particularly soppy/sentimental readings for a wedding?

I read "the life that i have" by leo marks to my husband at our wedding

As bednobs says it depends who's going to read it. I've posted this short one several times on here, not too ott & & it seems popular

Hi All

Thanks so much for the suggestions, they are some really lovely words.

The reading would be by a friend of ours who has a habit of making everything he says sound funny so it will be a challenge for him. Unless anyone has any humourous readings?

We are not too worried about the length of the reading, but we'd like it to be more than a few lines.
