As and when we join the Euro wil the entry rate be assessed or would it be determined by the exchange rate of the day. thanks in anticipation. bill roberts.

It is will assessed according to the date when you enter the trade.
You could try practising on demo accounts for trading if you are planning to get in to it.

Other countries that have entered the euro have done so on a rate set in advance. We would probably do the same.

Thanks a lot, lets hope that the negotiated rate will be higher than the present x rate.
