Oh no it won't - a common, but incorrect belief. Boundaries shown on Land Registry (or indeed on ancient unregistered, title deed) plans show General Boundaries, not exact boundaries. It is possible to pay a lot of good money to have this determined by an independent body. Does not answer the question but I cant resist a comment.
I only happened to noticed that the Ordnance Survey boundary had been changed on an unrelated planning application. I dont know how they managed to do that without my knowing but it obviously gave them some satisfaction. Ordnance Survey could not explain it either. I felt as if I had been mugged. I could have argued the toss about it but decided to just get on with my life. Strange thing is they are normal people otherwise.
