I am renting a flat and need to donate all the furniture, which is in good condition, in Surrey. Do you know of anyone that will take it for free? The council cant take it away for a couple of months. Thanks all.

Some areas have colelctions for people in deprived areas to help furnish their houses, one of the secret millionaires on TV helped out with one.
try your local sue ryder shop
or salvation army shop
or bareboards trust if you have a local one

Am I right ?
I'm not wrong !
Our local hospice takes - and collects - furniture. Give yours a ring and see if they do the same.
The Salvation Army are always very grateful for furniture donations and they team up with the council (here at least) and some poorer folk can buy it cut price
I might take some. I'm over in Berkshire and renting an unfurnished place. What are you getting rid of and how far from Berkshire are you?
