I've been searching for an upmarket New Year's Eve event, involving a good atmosphere and good food. I've not seen anything much online.

Can anyone think of anything nice to do or go to in London or Southeast, not involving pubs, bars or nightclubs?

Not everyone is an alki Doc, I was thinking of nice Hotel events. Thought Orient Express would be nice, but not sure I fancy being on a train for 6 hours. Partner liked the idea of NY Elton John event at the O2 Arena, but bit too noisy.

Oh by the way everyone. I omitted to add Please or Thank You. Apologies, but generous of Doc to point this out.
