Yes, chappie - I'd liken it to that as well. In fact, I've had worse period pains than when i gave birth, and seriously, I had no pain relief. It just wasn't required. Two of my sisters were the same - and we'd all taken raspberry leaf tea for 2.5 months before having our babies. I'd definitely say it worked. x

Yes, and punched, stamped on, grabbed and twisted playing rugby, if typing had a voice this would be done in high pitch

I've never heard of raspberry leaf tea Ice. It's great that you found it helped for you.

To be honest mrs c, when it happens during a game of rugby the adrenalin is pumping you don`t feel it as much at the time

Whereas if you get a whack in the nuts unexpectedly any other time regardless how hard (the whack) it really does hurt

I didn't push at all during my first labour,my daughter had to be helped all the way out with the aid of forceps which left horrible bruises on her tiny head for days.

sometimes an epidural means you cant feel to push.

but you feel like you need a really big poo and youve got no chance of stopping, the contractions push it down but you do need to help it along the way.

I have not given birth, but I have given blood many times. Is that the equivalent of giving birth for a male?

i have the lowest pain threshold there could possible be, i faint getting blood taken and hate gore but ive given birth twice first time with all the pain relief going which could have been a better experience but the second time i had no pain relief, was told i didnt have time and 4 hrs later with alot of pushing out shot, literally out shot my 10lb 10oz son, people always relay a horror story about giving birth but if all goes to plan it can be so rewarding, the amount of friends i have that have been having babies and ive tried to convert them to having no pain relief is unreal and they all have said the same, more pain gives you more control and quicker recovery time than if you zonked on meds. i bonded alot quicker with my son also as i had worked so hard to get him out!

Yes you ladies have a bit of pain giving birth I have heard its no more painfull that a stiff motion , but don't forget us blokes have to shave everyday until we snuff it , thats a lot worse.........
