Yes, this is true.  Although I hope the writes deal with it well.  Althziemers is developed over years not weeks and Mike isn't showing any symptoms of it yet.

I should imagine that, since it's Mike, they'll have something along the lines of that he wants to loosen the reins (or is that knicker elastic?) he has on Underworld, play a bit more golf, perhaps move to Spain with a bit of a love interest, even marriage again?

That way, (and with Mike's history), the door could always be open for his return (marriage fails, doesn't like the golf course, crashes his Jag etc.).

Surely they can kill off Mike, can they?
