Just put a bid in for a airbed on ebay was accepted as the highest bidder sadly found a better deal some where else,hope someone else outbids me,as there were 8 bids before me,am i clutching at straws??

lol probably, i thought the same thing when I put 260 as my highest bid for concert tickets. Was only after I thought zomg im paying 200 quid over face value, im the reason ticket touts get away with this.


If theres a bit of time left on it then you might get lucky. Airbeds will be popular this time of year with Christmas on the way. Cross all your fingers and toes.

It's amazing how much people will pay for some things on ebay.
Just remember your bid is valid until the end of the auction. If the highest bidder pulls out, as they do sometimes, and your bid is the next highest then that automatically makes you the highest bidder again and subject to all the normal bidding rules again.
It doesent work like that cakeboy, if the highest bidder does not pay or pulls out for some reason, the seller may offer the item to you for the price that you have bid for it, but you dont have to accept if you dont want to, thats the rule.
