Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I'm confused! If the answer to 43a is Reichstag and the answer to 41a is Honest ... who was the star of 39 Steps? I can only find Robert Donat which doesnt fit Please help!!!!

I havent got the crossword but Robert Powell starred in a remake of the film.

The 39 Steps clue is 36 Down not 39 Down

Its the Alfred Hitchcock version which was made in the 1930s. I have -h-c- for the clue 38d

38 Down is not the 39 Steps clue

38 Down looks like Shock (Therapy) another name for ECT
which fits your letters

Donat should be 36 Down

And just for the record, Kenneth More also starred in a version of The 39 Steps.

And they are shooting a new version in Broadstairs at the moment, which is where the original 39 steps were!
