I have just crawled out from under the duvet to type this post. It is freezing here in Scotland - makes a cat glad that he is an 'indoor cat'. My sister is really lucky coz she has really long hair.

So - toms and queens, have you managed to avoid going out into the wild weather today or have you been forcibly ejected from your house?

It is a good job that I have been denutted or they would be frozen solid today. Makes me cringe!

Santa Kittie will soon be coming to town to visit us good cats (and dogs). But being good is so damned hard!

I must go - the duvet is calling my name.

Helloooo frankie....Caspar here. I have just woken also...for the 3rd time today. The slave just walked in the front door....and I shouted as loudly and screetchily as I could. It worked...a WHOLE tin of pate landed in my dish...see persistance works!!!

Hi Frankiecat, Felix here - my brother Frankie is under the duvet in mum's bed, Tansy is snoozing in front of the fire, and I'm just off back to my own special radiator. Too cold to play out today, and it will be tea-time soon. Then a good wash and brush up, and back to sleep. Hope Santa Kittie brings you and your sister some nice presents. Miaow!! For Now. - Felix.

Cupar here, neither margo or i have adventured far outside today though dad kept turfing maggie out the window to watch the birdies but she'd soon come scuttling back in through the cat flap. Mum said i could tell you all shes put us on catbook, shes hoping heathcliffe might come on for a chat and see this cos she wants us to be friends.
Hello fellow felines - Flossie here. Our slave has been ill and spent quite a bit of time in bed in the last few days which is nice as It means I have a nice warm body to cuddle up to. Being that I'm so old and thin I feel the cold so when she takes the hot water bottle I curl up near that. Daisie likes getting under the duvet but I don't. The slave has to get the Christmas decorations out from The Cupboard Under The Stairs soon. Daisie and I love that. The slave calls us ferrets up drainpipes because we streak in as soon as she opens the door and then she can't get us out until we get hungry as the space is too small for her to climb in. I have also taken in the last couple of years to pulling decorations off the Christmas tree so that's something else to look forward to.
XXX Flossie
Hmmmph, I went out just to take a look around and they forgot about me. I was outside for at least 20 minutes. No consideration whatsoever - Alice xx
Hi Frankie - Milly here!

I popped into the garden earlier, but soon whizzed back in as it's absolutely freezing here too! Even my wee turned into an icicle as I was doing it!

Fortunately, my Mummy has put a cat litter tray in the kitchen for me, so I can stay in the warm. She's very kind my Mummy is!
Fancy a game later kitties?:

Hello, Nido here. I tried to go out earlier as a cat has needs but the flap was frozen! My owner had to open the back door for me thankfully but as soon as I did my business I was straight back in and on my owner's bed. All warm and cosy near the radiator. I've just come down for some food and cuddles but it was so warm upstairs I think I will head back there soon. Good day all. Miaow x

At least the cats in the ice hockey match got to wear clothes to keep them warm - maybe I could get a little "Scotland" t shirt for Christmas.

Alice - you should report your human. 20 minutes in todays cold weather was far too long. You have to insist on a cat flap. But, as Nido discovered, that doesn't always help - frozen cat flaps? Frozen wee - poor wee Milly.

We don't get Christmas decorations - I think slave is still seething about the first year we lived here and I destroyed them and ate some of them too.

Skype phone - we don't have that. Is it easy for a cat to use Caspar?

Cupar - slave is dithering over catbook. I could do it myself of course, but I don't know where out photographs are kept.
Poor wee Margo - getting put outside to play with the birds. How long does it take her to get to the cat flap?

Human slave is getting miserable over the silly season. How can anybody suffer from depression when they have two beautiful cats to look after? Mind you if she didn't feel awful and depressed (and sometimes manic) she would have to get a job and then WHO would look after me? She should get her priorities right.

We are off to surf around the net for pressies for human kittens for Christmas. Slave doesn't know much about human kittens. She wants to buy my two year old human cousin bagpipes. Hamish might like them - not too sure about his mummy and daddy though.

Speak to you all tomorrow maybe - if it is warm enough to get out of bed.

Frankie and Princess Merlin

boots here, too cold to go out in Wales so my slave put up the Christmas tree so we could get lots of exercise climbing it and knocking the baubles off. Isnt she kind! I'm on catbook too if anyone wants friends, I'm a felix lookalike from wales
Well hellowwww everybody ! BigThug here... look, there is no way I am going to go out again in this weather (except for the obvious, obviously !) too flipping effing brrrrr for me... I know, I've got a gorgeous fur lined coat on but come on, behave !

WeeThug did venture out earlier so I nicked her spot in front of the fire... hee hee... but please don't let on that I even knew it was the bestest spot in the lounge ok ??
Hello again Frankie. My frozen wee wee has thawed out now & I'm snoozing under the spare bed! It's nice & warm laying over the central heating pipes too!

Have a nice evening, purr, meow. -xx-
Heathcliffe here :)

Slave has been very upbeat this weekend which means I have been getting lots more impromtu cuddles and I like it a lot :) I was grassed up last week by this nice man who I found through a window, he gave me cream :) He told my slave though!!!

I was also sick on slaves bed twice and twice in the hall and had to bite slave on the arm to wake her up. She spent all night on the sofa keeping an eye on me so she's a good slave really. I feel a bit bad now for being sick again on her pillow too!

She came home on Friday all giddy carrying all these flowes which have taken up the kitchen table then she got a phonecall from her brother and was leaping about and all excitable as it turns out he is marrying another human.

I don't get it me but it made for a happy slave and more cuddles for me.

Was looking forward for a nice cosy saturday lie in but she got up early, I mean it was Saturday!!! She said something about meeting her mum and disappeared off but wasn't gone out as long as usual and we had a nice cuddly night.

Today I've not been out much at all and been having lots of sleeps. Slave disappeared off again and came back with lots of bags for me to play in and got this little tree, I am sure it's not real and started putting lots of stuff on it and lights and everything, I think she's gone a bit nuts!

She's even sat in the dark so she can "see them better" though she has the heater on so it's all cosy warm and she's finally given up trying to dress me as santa kitty (I mean, really!) as I was having none of that!

I have a new room now too as my slave was playing with bags and boxes in there so there's more space for me to play and lots of great boxes and bags and hidey places. I'm going to adopt it, it's my room now.
Hi everyone, blackcat here! I have at long last got my slaves properly trained! Today the female pulled my big armchair right over absolutely next to the radiator, which was on from late afternoon, and I've spent all evening feeling lovely and warm and have snuggled up in an old fleece of hers. Life isn't so bad once you start to understand humans, and how they work!
Hiya, Frankie, Gavin here - I got the blame for knocking the Xmas tree over, but it wasn't me, honest, it was Mischa!! It's been freezing here, too and although I usually like to be out all day, I've lately taken to staying indoors, in front of the fire. My daughter, Cleo, likes to go out really early and hunt the birds, but she doesn't have much luck 'cos Mum has put this daft collar on her, with a bell, and the birds can here her coming a mile off!!! Monty was a good hunter - he didn't have a collar...
Romy and Cassie tend to stay indoors most of the day - I guess that's what comes when you get old!!
I hope you and Merlin have a lovely Kittie-Mas! She's not abndoning you two over the holidays, is she?? Love, Gav.
By the way, it's Mischa, the little creep, who snuggles up to Mum every night, under the duvet! I'm not even allowed upstairs! Mum calls Mischa her "little furry hot-water bottle!" -honestly!! Cassie doesn't seem to mind, she still sleeps on top of the duvet and puts up with Mischa and her antics. Gav.
