I want to get back into film making, and want to get started by doing some improvisational bits onto video with my actor friends. I'd like to find an Alan Ayckbourne type set up, heavily character-based, and then improvise the rest. Thing is I am a bit stuck for ideas. Can anyone give me a starting point? I will credit you!!!x

How about a ship full of immigrants going to America to start a new life in the early 1900's. A select group could be character driven, based on their lives and backgrounds, also their hopes and dreams for the future on reaching a new land to start afresh.
