Last night when I was in my local sainsburys I noticed that Guitar hero world tour band pack (wii) had the price inside the plastic sleeve for 34.99 and not just placed on the outside, of which would obviously was a mistake made by staff and was on the guitar range. My question is , isn't the customers right that the price on the sleeve should be the price I pay for the item or for the price that it should be around 150. I was too emarassed to check at the till, but after speaking to my sister in law she said I had just had to ask for the manager, if the till person said no. I thought I'd ask you guys and find out if anyone had any similar experiences?

I just feel too emabarassed to argue the toss in the shop lol, but as its xmas its so tempting to try. A few weeks ago I did buy the pack with just the guitar for my son, but want to get him the drums so much now!
They don't have to sell at any price. The price on the item is only a guide for an "offer to buy". If they make a pricing error, and let you have the item at the lower price it's only a gesture of goodwill. They don't have any legal obligation to do so.
It doesn't hurt to ask though, they might not know the rules.
