ooo i was a Nitty Gritty Dirt Band fan and they covered Mr Bojangles, i think it's on the Uncle Charlie album.

Course Kris Kristoferson would be the one for me, he did loads of songs that came from the same group of writers. I still have his Silver Tongued Devil album.
