my friends b'day tomorrow. having a few drinks round hers saturday and she's quite girly. we wanted to get her some pink champagne and i was just wondering whether pink has a different flavouring to normal? or is it just the colouring? i dont really drink champagne often myself so i wouldnt know.

anyway i just wanted to know before buying, cos i dont want to waste money if its gonna be wasted.

she loves alcohol but she's been fussy every since her drink was spiked last year so just a warning there.

thanks x

More or less the same.

Champers is made from a blend of 2 types of grapes ...

Chardonnay (which are white) and

Pinot Noir (which are red)

o make pink Champagne, instead of removing the grape skins, they leave the Pinot Noir grapes in for a bit. The red grape skins make the Champagne go pink.

Sorry ... I mean, they leave the Pinot Noir grape SKINS in for a bit.
i find it slightly sweeter - by no means sweet, perhaps I am meaning just not quite as dry. I love champagne and would happily have either - am no expert though.
I agree, joannie.

It's just very jolly ... pink or white.
