Reading AB E-Mails

I am extremely green about computers and also very new to this site, so I haven't got very much about it sussed yet. (I'm feeling very proud of myself that I even managed to register wihout asking for help!) However, whenever I have had an answer to a question my In Box tells me to click on the URL printed to read the E Mail - but clicking produces nothing.  So far I have had to trawl through reams of questions to find mine to then read the answers.  Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong so that I don't have to ask my 10 year old?!

By the way, if anyone can help here, I shall really need untechnical answers in words of one syllable.  Thanks in advance.

Sometimes they just don't work!  I have been getting emails with invalid characters in them from some time now, the ab ed has ignored my questions and emails about it!

 

A faster way to find your question is to click on "my profile" in the top left and then click on my questions at the bottom

Many thanks 5029 -I didn't realise this option existed - said I was green didn't I?  Knowing this already makes so much difference to me using this site.  Cheers.

Iv got this problem as well, 5029 - The new AB Ed is also ignoring my posts and emails about this problem!
