smear test

All you women out there I have just had a smear test done and was told I had contact bleeding and a bulky womb. Has any lady ever been told this after a test and why. The Doc did'nt give me a straight answer.

Contact bleeding means bleeding on sexual contact usually, maybe they picked up blood on the smear test?

If it's bulky then could be all kinds of things from fibroids to polyps or similar which could also cause the bleeding.

Did the doctor refer you for any further tests or investigations?
