Does anyone know of somewhere in SW Scotland (or perhaps Cumbria) where we could buy a hen-house? Delivery seems to cost an arm and a leg over the price of the house.

Have you tried Eglus? They deliver, I believe.

They will send you a des-res hen house. And whilst they usaually can deliver chickens, Cumbria is a bit far. But they'll still deliever the hen house.

thanks - I've looked at them, but we are planning on keepig about 1/2 doz chickens and omelet only cater for 2. Also, almost expensive as a big coop for 6 hens!.
