If Anthropomorphism is making animals more like people then what is describing people as animals

for example: she was as tall as a giraffe (but better)

thats just a simile but what is the opposite of anthropomorphism

Great answer. I'll be using it.
Currently I'm writing a piece on how people who short stocks behave as jackals and their regulators act as snakes. The problem is that such references may influence human behaviour toward these beautiful creatures (all creatures are beautiful in some way). So, despite the risk to these animals, I'm sure you easily get the point even though you may know/care little about that subject. Anyway, i thought it was worth recording a good example of zoomorphism. Hmm. I just noticed that the auto spell check thingy doesn't recognize the z word! Maybe we should check another dictionary?? Later :-)
