I was really interested to find your Q&A about the per una shops. I've been looking for them too..as like all of you I see people on ebay selling them.. They are quite crafty as they don't show the area in the UK that they are from. However I do see that one is from Sunderland. Does anyone live near there to check it out?

I was trying to find the same information myself ... so...
...I went straight to the top and got it from the horses mouth... that ..... a large percentage of the stock that was, at that point on Ebay and advertised by Wholesalers was in fact fake...
Per Una is a heavily copied brand and much of what is sold on Ebay and by the wholesalers are copies, even some of those with tags on..!!
I've been caught myself with purchases not only from Ebay but also from so called 'Per Una' Wholesalers...!!! Some of the fakes are so good that it is hard for the suppliers to detect...!!
Per Una have no 'official' factory shop or source for purchasing over runs or seconds... however the shop in Hinckley does sell 'genuine' Per Una as well as other brands...
Outside of the M&S factory shops and the regular stores this is the only place you can get 'single' items...but they do sell them with all of the tags removed..and some are slightly different from the shop stock...!!
If you want current lines you may have to wait a while before they surface on Ebay or at Hinckley...
To find the opening hours ring their recorded message on 01455 614824 the next date at the moment is Fri 29th September and Saturday 30th Sept 2006

There is a shop selling Per Una factory overmakes at the Hop Pocket Craft Centre, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire. WR6 5BT called Wyestyles. Well worth a visit, the owners are a lovely couple, will do anything to help, They also sell some lovely velvet scarves and jackets by a French designer Roshanara, Ciccia handbags from the ex radley designer Ruth Pinnock and other handgags too.
