Daytime Sleeps
My 14 month old alway has an hour from about 9.30ish and about an hour after lunch which is normlly about 12ish. For the last few days she is refusing to sleep. I know at this age she feels shes missing out but she is rubbing her eyes and clearly needs her sleep. She goes to bed at about 7.15pm and wakes about 6.30am.

Don't worry, it is normal - she will simply sleep more deeply when she does go off. Babies have a way of regulating their sleep patterns to what they need. If she is that tired, she will simply drop off.
I remember my youngest used to hold her eyelids open with her fingers she was so frightened of missing something!

Miiss out the morning nap and take her for a walk or a trip in the car after lunch . What you will find is that she will try to miss out those naps and then be grumpy and fall asleep at tea time, then wake again early evening and be up till late. Try to keep the afternoon nap for a wee while yet if you can.
