I want to open a savings account but as I am 17, do I have to have a childrens account or can I apply for a different one with better interest? I have looked on the website for where I want to open one (Nationwide) but couldn't find any information, I was hoping to open a savings account such as a cashbuilder account. Could anybody tell me whether I can apply for one of these or whether I need a childrens account?
Thanks.

I have just looked on Nationwide's website for their Cashbuilder account and it says that you need to be over 11 years so you will be fine.
