My list; Greenfinch, bullfinch, goldfinch, chaffinch, songthrush, blackbird , house sparrow, redwing, fieldfare, GS woodpecker, sparrowhawk, goldcrest, mistlethrush. Coal, great blue & long tailed tits.Dunnock, wren & grey squirrel...grrr
That's a lovely list carrust. I usually get long tailed tits in the springtime and early summer and then they disappear. Same with goldfinches funny enough. They are about all over the lawn when the dandelions and young then they desert me!!

I rarely see squirrels around me - not many hardwood trees. I would rather have a squirrel or two than the multitude of rats we have at the moment. We always have them, living as we do with drainage ditches and a farm jut down the road, but this year has been really dreadful!
dandelions are young!! (My brain thinks one thing and my fingers type another!!!)
..... and I forgot the hedge sparrows >>>>>>>>>>>>
What have we got on our bird table? a very nice mixture now the old neighbours have gone and taken their seven cats with them (Max is a lot happier as well)
Black birds....Blue tits.... wood pigeons... magpies.....but not one sparrow don't know what has happened to them, had loads in summer ,and I miss those cheerful little birds.
loads of sparrows and starlings, blue tits, blackbirds, great tits, dunnocks, coal tits, pigeons!!! robin, magpies wrens, a pair of blackcaps the other day, parakeets a great spotted woodpecker and a sparrowhawk last weekend.
ah- but when you see a good starling roost then you can forgive them! One of natures greatest spectacles and for free!
I put out all sorts for the birds - the usual seed mixes, niger seeds etc. and they love scones and mixed fruit. Currently I get loads of goldfinches, dunnocks, long tailed, blue & great tits, nuthatches, blackbirds, thrush, sparrows, jackdaws, crows, collared doves, pigeons, chaffinches, greenfinches, robins and wrens. I'm hoping that the bullfinches re-appear this year
i hope everyone remembers if they are putting out white bread for the birds to soak it in milk or water first
