Working holiday visa with criminal record

I have just been charged with drink driving which I understand counts as a criminal record. I am looking at travelling round Australia, America, Asia, for 6 months to a year on a working holiday visa.
Is this going to be a problem for me?

just being charged isn't a criminal record (though the Americans may still want to know about it). If you're convicted, then it may be a problem. But there's no general answer; individual countries make their own rules about who they let in.

There is no such thing as a working holiday visa for entry into the USA.

You can only work in the USA if you meet the requirements specified on that web page. In general, that means working in pre-arranged jobs which require specialist qualifications at advanced degree level.

The only place in the world as far as I know that bars you from entry for drink driving is Canada. If you go as a tourist they won't ask but if you want a working visa they do, and you won't get one.
