He was also in Brookside. I find it quite sad- he always seemed fantasic in Randall and Hopkirk but seemed a bit wooden in Brookside and now in Corrie

On the subject of Corrie blokes, that new Windass character with the scruffy curly hair, is he the gay one from The Full Monty?

He was in Coronation St as Jes Stone many years ago, before he played in Randall and Hopkirk.

It was splashed all over the papers and magazines, and this site, months ago

Interestingly, Steve was in Royal Today, a spin off from The Royal in which the actor who played Jerry Moreton and owns the Windass house starred as a porter

The new Windass character has to be Corrie's version of Enders' Keith. Scruffy hairly layabouts who you can almost smell through the screen. I loved the actor in Full Monty - but not so keen of the character in this.
