When I was young, my mother knew a poem about a daffodil and a lilly that started...'Said Daffy Down Dilly to the little white lilly, whose tips were beginning to show. Say what are you about? Do make haste and come out! I am sure you are excedingly slow!' Does anyone know the name of the poem and who wrote it please?

The poem is called "Daffy-down-Dilly" by Anna B. Warner (also known under a pen-name of Amy Lothrop") an American poet.
