Pics to DVD

I have used Windows Photo Story 3 to put all of my holiday slides into a film strip & have added a music backing. I have tried to use Nero to make a DVD without success ( as I have made several data CDs with pics, I thought this would work).Please can anyone help?

I always use this tool to make slideshow and burn to DVD to play on TV, it works pretty well for me, you may download it for a try
