which is the proper uk singles charts

i can never find the properly official charts. i google it and loads come up saying they're the offficial top 40 singles chart but they're all different which one is the proper one?

BBC Charts seem to be the official listings for the top 40

The charts compiled by the advert riddled radio stations are always wrong but the top ten is the same as the official charts....
