A tramp collects cigarette ends and for every 7 ends he finds he can make 1 cigarette. One Sunday morning he collects 55 cigarette ends.

How many cigarettes is he able to smoke?

I make it 9 but no doubt someone will correct me.
(Makes 7 cigarettes from 49 of ends,smokes those seven and has seven stubs to make another cigarette. Once he has smoked that cigarette, he adds the end to the other six he had - hopefully making nine)
