Has anyone on here managed to buy any lottery tickets this afternoon, or has the whole camelot thing closed down ?
Surely they haven't gone broke too

I do the T-Ball and got my ticket at 12-45
but it took ages ..

Just tried on line but still no joy if my numbers come up that I have been doing since the onset of lottery can I sue Camelot?

If your numbers come up it will not be worth winning as no one can buy a ticket , they will have no money to pay out to the winners

What happens to the money that people who have paid in advance?

Presumably they will hold the draw as usual, but the prize fund will be lowere that it otherwise would have been.

I do mine my direct debit, so it looks like the pot is mine tonight.. although is sounds like it might be about �20 at this rate!

I could not buy a lotto ticke online, so I bought an Instant Win game for �2 - and I won �50.

Serves them right!

Thanks everybody for your comments and helpful advice.
I tried hard to buy my lottery tickets without success.
Luckily all the numbers that I regularly do didn't come up, so I saved myself some money.
It seems unbelievable that such a big rich outfit such as Camelot could not cater for such a breakdown where their sole existence depends on computerisation.
Hope some of you had some luck....and even won something !
