What is the plural of Minnie Mouse as in "there were several minnie mouses there" mouses or mice neither sounds correct.

Technically, it would be mice but I think in this case it would be Mouses as we tend to think of Mouse as her surname. For example, if her name was Minnie Smith we would say there were several Minnie Smiths there.

As Minnie Mouse is a proper noun, the plural is Minnie Mouses.

Sorry it was a silly question but have nothing else to do here all day and it came up during a coffee morning and I appear to have been wrong - shock horror!
the plural of proper names doesn't change, so Minnie Mouses (in a pickle is obviously forgetting that Minnie's aunt is also called Minnie, as is the little girl mouse next door). A related question: what's the plural of computer mouse? Somehow it feels as if the irregular plural mice should be restricted to the rodent; but as netibiza says, mouses sounds wrong.

just put more than one.... that's what I would do, but then agani, i'm only 14, therefore probably making it a stupid answer anyway!! lol x x x
