I cannot get 1st , reverse gears 2,3,4 gears are ok, is it a linkage problem. whats involved in the repair. My clutch seems fine.

Common problem - gear linkage needs replacement/repair. last time Friend needed one it cost about �140 at the garage

plastic busehs on the gear linkage worn, linkage is about 90 quid from vauxhall as its a dealer only part and should take around 40 mins to fit,
