I'm 99.9% certain I once read about a sitcom planned by Croft and Perry, the writers of Dad's Army, meant as a vehicle for Matthew Kelly and called 'Sidney, you're a genius'. Unfortunately they thought he was a terrible actor and shelved plans to make it. My question is, am I dreaming this as I have not been able to find anything online referring to this story?
