Panetone or Panettone (Italian Christmas Bread)

Skillet being the Pan and the f being the musical note/tone

To be honest, I haven't even looked at the Lincolnshire Place Names quiz yet. I am still ploughing through the December and January closing dates. Struggling with St. Mary the Virgin at the moment! Not to mention Pendleside Hospice No. 46. What do you think of emeritus' idea?

i think its brilliant,but if i'm honest I'm struggling to see where winter wonderland fits in with no 37&38 as I'm convinced the words love, can ,no "c"any old & time together should be in no 38, trouble is closing date is fast approaching and I,m running out of time to keep googling. Both clues seem to be a load of old gobbledygook to me, and no I haven,t been at the wine!

thank you for saving my sanity tpw-almost too embarrassed to admit I was looking at the chorus, not the first verse-no wonder it didn't make sense! I should have gone for a walk this afternoon to clear my addled brain, instead of cluttering it up with quiz answers!

you shouldn't be apologising to me smouse, usually I am on the same wavelength as you.My son should be revising for exam modules when he returns to school, and I feel guilty using the computer for my little bit of quizzing pleasure,therefore things tend to get a bit fraught, and I don't think clearly.Just off to the bank to try to get them to release a new cheque book so I can enter puzzles in 2009. Some people never learn when to stop! Happy New Year.
