have found car trips for 2nd & 3rd generation but mine is a 4th generation I pod

im probably wrong here in what you actually mean, but, wont one of those little fm transmitter thingies work that plug into your car cigarette lighter, tune it into a spare radio frequency and you then play your ipod tunes through your car speakers..?
theyre quite cheap, about �12 from places like argos etc
