can any one tell me how to get self-tan stains off my hands please.

wash your hands using lemon juice and coarse salt - you might need to scrub quite hard. Won't necessarily get rid of it entirely, depending on how dark the stains are and how long they've been there, but it will definitely help and isn't too harsh or chemical. You will need hand cream after though as lemon juice is quite drying.

Boots does a fake tan remover – I think it’s for their own brand fake tan, but I would imagine it’ll work for all brands.  Next time, use a fake tan mitt, it'll allow you to tan all over, but keep the palm of your hands looking like normal.  You can get one of these from Boots, Body Shop or Superdrug.

not ideal stuff to put on your hands but nail varnish remover can work - and believe it or not, 'deet' insect repellent.

use a barrier cream on your hands next time then it wont stain
