:-)) My good mate Harry! I'm jumping in on this thread as I see you've had answers on the other one & this may go on a bit...

I sincerely apologise for not answering my New Year's Day thread - I had forgotten it, but that's no excuse after all the kind messages I've had over the last couple of months, & I shall rectify that as soon as I've typed this.

My over-indulgence, coupled with very little rest for several weeks finally caught up with me & I paid the price - you'd think I'd know better by now, but no...still, nearly 2 days of solid sleep seems to have done the trick & hopefully I'm back to normal (??)

My answers from here go to a separate e-mail account - in my other life, I'm not "Lie-in King" - mad, eh!?

I've been worried about Anne, as you know, & so far she's doing ok on her course of drugs - it'll be a fair while before she has to be re-tested, though...

Unfortunately, another friend was taken into hospital last week with pneumonia, but she seems to be rallying somewhat & we're hopeful she may be allowed home soon.

May I say, Harry, that I'm genuinely touched by your concern for my well-being, & I'd like to extend that feeling to everyone that replied to your other thread as well.

You're not getting rid of me that easily!

Good morning Lie-in, have just read Harry's post and very glad to see there's no real reason to be concerned - mind you, I'm not too sure about Harry - the other day when I was talking to you, Dave and Harry - you and Dave trundled off to bed and Harry wanted me to stay and talk - then he figured I was female, and an Ozzie, he went all-Scots on me and disappeared into the gloom - funny lad !!!

Anyway, keep up the good work, it's much appreciated S
