Sleeping Meds

Since I've been taking the anti depressant Sertraline I have'nt been able to sleep. Im never asleep before 3-4am and its getting me down. My gp prescribed Imovane but I cant bear the metallic aftertaste. Any suggestions much appreciated.

You could try something herbal to relax you and get into a more relaxing bedtime routine so even if you don't sleep, your mind and body is getting some kind of down time.
I don't know much about the drug so probably safer to check with your GP or pharmacist about what is and isn't safe to take with it and make sure they know if you are still taking the sleeping meds as that would also have a bearing.

ive been on anti depressants on and off for yrs,i refuse to take them now as all they ever done to me was make me more depressed,more anxious,nervous,irratated,suicidal........ur better off without them,they never ever did me any good wotsoever ! i still get depressed but sit it out and i also find living a more healthy lifestyle and getting to gym helps me more than any pill ever did....
